You are invited to join a two-stop gallery tour on Saturday 27 May.
From 12 midday till 2PM – “Breathing Universe”- Kay Watanabe/Anna Bonshek
Our first event is to visit the latest exhibition of recent works by Brisbane based Japanese Printmaker Kay Watanabe – in collaboration with Gold-Coast printmaker Anna Bonshek. Kay will be in attendance and will guide us through the show – and refreshments are provided.
From 2PM till 4PM – ‘Happy Together’ – Vipoo Srivilasa
Melbourne based multi-award winning ceramicist Vipoo Srivilasa will give an artists talk at 3pm – as he introduces his new menagerie of happy creatures at Edwina Corlette Gallery.
These events are free of charge – and whilst RSVP is not essential, it would be greatly appreciated that if people are going to come along – to please RSVP to taasa.qld@gmail.com by Wednesday 24 May – for catering purposes. TAASA Committee Members Mandy Ridley and Sushma Griffin will be at the events, so if you want to bring any friends who might be interested in joining TAASA please introduce yourselves at the events.
