SUMMARY:TAASA’S 2026 END of YEAR PARTY
DESCRIPTION:This year’s party has a Japanese theme as a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Australia and Japan. \nEnjoy delicious Japanese food with a performance of traditional Japanese dance by Junko Hirabashi from Sydney Japanese Dance. Junko will be accompanied by a Japanese bamboo flute player from TaikOz\, a Sydney-based professional taiko drumming group. \nJapanese attire is optional. \nThere will be a mini bazaar selling Asian memorabilia\, textiles\, art and artifacts. Purchases to be preferably made with cash\, so come prepared. There will also be a silent auction and a raffle. \nDonations for the bazaar would be much appreciated. If you can offer donations\, please bring these to our next TAASA event at the National Trust Centre on 10 November. Alternatively email Josefa Green (proactjg@bigpond.net.au) if you live on the south side\, or Karen Byatt (kbyatt@bigpond.net.au) if you are on the north side\, to arrange delivery.
