Seventy artists, collectives and projects from more than 30 countries will feature in the 11th chapter of this flagship exhibition series. Once again, TAASA Qld will host this weekend event designed for TAASA members from across Australia. Included will be:
- APT11 full day tour on Saturday 8 March led by Tarun Nagesh, Curatorial Manager of Asian and Pacific Art, QAGOMA (10.30 – 3.30pm).
- Thai dinner with chef Peter van Lunn on Saturday night hosted by TAASA Qld Convenor James MacKean at his home. Musical entertainment with Carl Rathus, renowned Brisbane Shakuhachi player, and a talk by James on Snakes in Himalayan and Indian Art.
- Sunday morning seminar program at QAGOMA on a range of topics designed for TAASA participants (10.00am – 12.30pm).
Cost: $230 per person. Payment by those who have previously registered their interest in this event is essential by Friday 14 February to confirm your place. Those people will be sent a separate link for making the payment. Cost includes APT11 tour, seminar, lunch on Saturday and dinner on Saturday night. All arrangements and costs for accommodation and transport are the responsibility of participants.
