And Still I Rise brings together twenty culturally diverse women artists, most of whom live and work in Australia. Spanning generations, cultures and medium, the exhibition draws on lived experience and inherited memory to offer fresh perspectives on identity, history and belonging.
Drawn from the Art Gallery of New South Wales collection and enriched by new commissions and key loans, And Still I Rise moves beyond established narratives to explore a multiplicity of voices, inviting a reconsideration of contemporary Australian art.
